Tidal Energy

Between December 2007 and April 2008 Lupus Engineering Services was contracted by SEAROC to undertake installation work for the Marine Current Turbines SEAGEN tidal energy converter.

This entailed carrying out the design of seafastenings for the transportation of the SEAGEN unit from Belfast to Strangford Narrows as well as producing lift plans for the load-out of the Missing Link installation equipment barge, and in support of drilling and piling activities associated with the SEAGEN installation.
