In 2004 we worked with Marlin Submarines based in Roborough, Plymouth on the design of the Alicia mini submarine.
Three sets of analysis were carried out; one for the conning tower only as a check on strain gauge results from tests at the National Hyperbarric Centre in Aberdeen for the pressure test case, another analysis to determine the collapse dive pressure of the hull assembly, and finally a fatigue assessment.
