The first stage in the installation of the HS1000 Tidal Turbine Generator (TTG) was to connect the umbillical piece (with bespoke connector) to the existing subsea cable. This would be
picked up later and connected to the TTG prior to its installation. The images below show the deck layout for the instalation vessel used, and the sequence of events.
